Huh? It looks exactly the same, only darker!

comment7 posted on 2006-02-20 13:10:00

Could have done exact same by adding a bit of contrast

To find everything you need to know about hair extensions you've come to the best place.

You took a beautiful natural look and turned it into a plastic barbie. Don't be afraid to except what people really look like.

comment22 posted on 2008-11-21 19:20:22

i could do a lot more with less steps.

comment23 posted on 2008-09-16 12:20:50

Thanks! Nice tutorial. Much appreciated :) If i could give this tutorial a 10 star rating, i would do it without doubt! What a shame that I can't :(

Beauty is not just about the hair and face, but also the nails and other parts of the body.

comment25 posted on 2009-06-16 06:55:41

that looks cool . .

comment26 posted on 2009-11-05 21:49:01

the skin looks fake all you have to do it work with the saturation bring it up to give more color and contrast down a lil ... then use the burn tool on lips a lil and around eyes where lashes are get a much better look as for the eyes yeah select the puples and mess with levels so that way works to bring more depth and for changing colors keep the selection and goto hue/saturation and play with those scales there... turns out way better and a lot easier that all the hand coloring and looks more natural ur way works if you want to colorize a b & w photo thou

The eyes look way too fake. It would have looked much nicer if you had just kept her eyes brown and added highlights.

Excellent page, just one small error in the 'Size Matters' paragraph; --> After all those changes we made, we create a new layer with all we see on the photograph """""""""- Alt-Ctrl-Shit-E """"" :D

Great tutorial - but you lost me from the eyes onwards. I tried to continue - but i got lost :( "Now we can brighten specific areas of the eyes and increase the impact" Would have loved an example of this. Anyway -- amazing tutorail. Cheers!

A good many valaulbes you've given me.

comment37 posted on 2011-12-01 20:19:08

do not like at all, highlights on chicks look horrible !

Excellent tutorial... I'm impressed. The only part that I'm having trouble with is the skin tone part. Every photo has a different starting point for skin tone and I"m having a difficult time to get it to look right, even with the skin tone chart that you provided the link for. I was wondering if there was any other basic instruction on it that you could give. Great work!
